Executives Like web 2.0 technologies
A recent study done by McKinsey & Co reveiled interesting insight about the usage of web 2.0 technologies in the corporate environment.
It found that 42% of the respondents would have invested more in web 2.0 services over the past five years if they had the chance to do it over again.
When questioned about which web services they were using or planning to use, executives cited: web services (80 percent), collective intelligence (48 percent), peer-to-peer networking (47 percent), social networking (37 percent), and Really Simple Syndication (35 percent). Also listed were podcasts (35 percent), wikis (33 percent), blogs (32 percent), and mash-ups (21 percent).
